BEWARE of the Smell-em-NoSee-ems!
All is well in Eagle, we are getting some moisture which is keeping the powder and dust at bay. We rode Pipeline yesterday and noticed that the cows were not in sight, neither was their waste. BUT we did smell them. Turns out they are still hanging out around Hardscrabble Road as well as Wolverton. No sightings on West Eagle either. Beware of these pooping beasts, and please keep any gates closed, or you could find one in your backyard.
Haymaker is performing their annual irrigation project currently. Basically they open the valves and let the water rock, everywhere, trails, fields, you name it.
Rider Jim Bradford tells us “The irrigation ditch by the cabin on Haymaker is leaking and flowing down the trail in the hay meadow. I was able to walk around it but things are quite wet.”
Thanks Jim, we appreciate the status report.
REMINDER: if the trail has water or mud, DON’T ride around it, go thru it.
